Jono was brought in by Warner Music after Conor’s first video was pulled. A lot of money had already gone into it, and as Warner’s first internet sensation signing, there was huge pressure to get the performance right. With only a few days, Jono came in as artist development and choreographer - stripping out the bad performance habits and building Conor’s movement from the ground up: hand gestures, facial work and camera performance. On the shoot, label and management were on set. It was a tense environment, and Jono delivered the performance they needed. He then choreographed Conor’s live shows with his band and staged the UK tour that followed.
