This was Junior’s first time performing outside of making the record, with only a couple of days to get him camera-ready. Jono choreographed his movement, facial poses and hand gestures, worked with him on artist development, and helped shape the concept of cutting from scene to scene.
On the shoot day he directed Junior in the scenes - the interactions, the hype and Junior’s performance - to complete the video. He later went on to co-choreograph and stage the single launch and the UK tour that followed. Jono is currently working with Junior on his new release “Goosebumps”, and recently staged his new live set, which debuted at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards at Manchester’s AO Arena.
